Damien Comolli has officially departed Juventus after spending just one season as the club’s general manager.

The French executive confirmed his exit following a disappointing campaign in which the Bianconeri finished sixth in Serie A and failed to secure UEFA Champions League qualification.

His departure was reached by mutual agreement, with Juventus quickly appointing Giovanni Carnevali as the club’s new general manager and managing director.

The 54-year-old boasts extensive experience across European football, having held senior roles at AS Saint-Etienne, Liverpool, Fenerbahce, and AS Monaco.

He also spent seven years as a scout at Arsenal, where he played a key role in recruiting stars such as Thierry Henry and Gael Clichy during one of the club’s most successful eras.

During his brief spell in Turin, Comolli oversaw the arrivals of Jonathan David and Francisco Conceicao before bringing his tenure with Juventus to an end.
