The draw for the league phase of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League will take place on Thursday evening, as some of England’s biggest teams will find out who they will face in Europe’s biggest competition.
However, ahead of the draw journalist Ben Jacobs has revealed that UEFA will hand The Blues an award for winning every domestic competition, something that has never done before.
“Chelsea will be presented with an award for winning every UEFA domestic trophy following their #UECL victory.
“Understand Aleksander Čeferin will hand it out before the #UCL draw.”
Chelsea won the Conference League by beating Spanish side Real Betis 4-1 in the final on May 28th. They have also won the Europa League twice, most recently in 2019 and finally won the Champions League for a second time in 2021 as they beat Manchester City in the final.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca and his side will find out their opponents for the 2025/26 Champions League League Phase on Thursday night but will be handed the award before in what will be a momentous occasion.
The draw will be held at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco at 5pm today, but clubs will not find out who their opponents are until some time after that as the ceremony takes place.
