Tottenham in talks over Said El Mala deal after Brentford rejection

Tottenham have reportedly entered talks with FC Koln over a potential move for Said El Mala after the player turned down a move to Brentford.

El Mala, 19, enjoyed a breakout season with the Bundesliga club, scoring 13 goals and providing four assists in his 36 games.

Brentford were keen on bringing the winger to the Premier League, and even agreed a fee with Koln, but El Mala turned them down.

According to TeamTalk, Tottenham are now in for him as their squad rebuild under Roberto De Zerbi continues.

Spurs will face some competition, however, with Newcastle and Nottingham Forest both looking to add El Mala to their books.
