Eta had already agreed to take charge of the women’s side for next season, however, so the Bundesliga side are on the lookout for a new permanent manager.
According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, FC Thun manager Lustrinelli, 50, is the favourite to take charge.
Lustrinelli has had an incredible season, leading newly promoted Thun to the Swiss Super League title, the first in their history.
