Chema reflected on his time so far in Germany, stating: "VfB is a traditional club, plays exciting football, and has had some really good seasons.
"They also focus on young players, bring them to the next level, and are also internationally competitive. For me, as a young player, the move to Stuttgart was the right next step."
Chema scored the winner against Borussia Monchengladbach last week and the €3m signing added: "I feel good, I'm fit, and I have confidence. The support and motivation of the team are important to me and show me that I'm on the right track."
