The tournament kicks off on Sunday at Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah in Rabat, with the fixture, officially launching Africa’s premier football competition, which runs until 18 January 2026.
A FIFA-listed referee since 2013, Ndala is widely regarded for his composure, authority, and consistency. He will be officiating his fourth AFCON, having previously overseen matches in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
Ndala regularly handles key fixtures in the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, and World Cup qualifiers, cementing his reputation among Africa’s elite referees.
He will be supported by assistants Guylain Bongele Ngila, Mwanya Gradel Mbilizi, fourth official Messie Nkounkou Mvoutou, and VAR team Dahane Beida, Babacar Sarr, and referee assessor René Daniel Louzaya.
