Hostility in Real Madrid's dressing room has reached boiling point after Fede Valverde was taken to hospital following a 'very serious' altercation with Aurelien Tchouameni.

Marca report that the incident involving the two Real Madrid stars required the 'intervention of several team members', and was much worse than the one that took place on Wednesday.

Sources within the dressing room revealed that the fight stemmed from Valverde 'refusing to shake Tchouameni's hand' in the morning, and that began a very hostile session, ending with the Uruguayan suffering a 'heavy blow' that resulted in a trip to hospital.

A fight between two teammates isn't the only problem the Spanish giants are dealing with, as a report earlier on Thursday claimed that as many as six Real Madrid players are no longer on speaking terms with Alvaro Arbeloa

Controversy surrounding Kylian Mbappe also hasn't helped matters, with millions of supporters signing an "Mbappe Out" petition.

All of this is less than ideal preparation for Real's showdown with Barcelona on Sunday, and only highlights why Florentino Perez must action a clear out this summer.
