The former Genoa and Santos star, who turns 59 in February, has signed with J3 club, Fukushima United. It will be the first time Miura has played in the J-League - the nation's three top divisions - in five years. He joins Fukushima on-loan from Yokohama FC.

Miura was playing with fourth division and semi-pro Atletico Suzuka last season.
"My passion for football hasn't changed, no matter how old I get," he said as he prepares for a 41st season as a professional footballer.
"I'm very grateful to be given this opportunity. I promise I will play with everything I have to make a contribution. Let's make history together!"
