Bryan Mbeumo has offered his opinion on Manchester United boss Michael Carrick.

Carrick returned to the club as interim manager following Ruben Amorim's dismissal in January, and the Englishman has since done a wonderful job.

Champions League football has returned to Old Trafford under his stewardship, with 10 wins from 15 Premier League matches in charge, while many players are clamouring for him to be given a permanent contract.

Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes have both displayed their admiration towards Carrick publicly, and Bryan Mbeumo is the latest to offer his verdict.

“I work a lot with the Travis Binnion, the video analysis team, but obviously sometimes with Steve Holland and the gaffer," Mbeumo told the iPaper.

“It’s a good staff. They’ve done really well. A lot of people would like Carrick to stay, but obviously that’s not my decision.”

It's been reported that INEOS and Jason Wilcox will decide whether to give the 44-year-old a permanent contract before the final game of the season against Sunderland.

Carrick has already said he wants his future resolved sooner rather than later, and if United are to continue their success, whether they decide to keep the English boss could prove pivotal.
