Bernardo Silva's 'dream' club revealed as Atletico Madrid enter race

Bernardo Silva will play his final game for Manchester City this weekend, on what is set to be an emotional day at the Etihad Stadium.

Silva is joined by Pep Guardiola and John Stones in leaving the club, with the trio amassing almost three decades of service to the Cityzens combined.

News of Guardiola's confirmed departure sent shockwaves across the footballing world on Monday, and he will leave a huge void that Enzo Maresca will attempt to fill as best as possible. 

An exit of this magnitude signifies the end of an era where Man City have dominated in the Premier League, with Silva playing a huge role in their trophy-winning success. 

The 31-year-old has won an impressive 18 trophies in nine years in Manchester, while amassing 153 goal involvements in 459 appearances for the club. 

The City legend is now deciding his next club ahead of the World Cup starting in mid-June, and according to Sky Sports, it's the Portuguese playmaker's "dream" to play for Barcelona

Barca are joined by Juventus in the race for his signature, after it was revealed they had offered him a contract, while Atletico Madrid are also in the mix. 

It will be interesting to see how this situation develops over the coming weeks, as it appears there is going to be a transfer tug-of-war for his signature.
