The ESPN Netherlands report adds that Henrique has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Ajax, with the deal valued at €10m plus €4m in bonuses.
The left-back, who was Monaco’s first-choice in his position last season, saw his campaign disrupted by injury issues in the closing stages and ultimately missed out on a FIFA World Cup call-up for Brazil.
His exit comes as Monaco prepare for changes on the left side of defence, with Filipe Luís expected to take over as head coach and Nazinho set to arrive from Cercle Brugge, while Kassoum Ouattara could also depart amid interest from Besiktas.
