Arsenal launch bid for Real Sociedad midfielder Zubimendi

Per Italian reports, a bid of 45 million has already gone in to La Real recently.

However, the offer is likely to be rejected, as the Spanish side are in no mood to sell.

Zubimendi, who is also wanted by Juventus and top Spanish clubs, has a release clause of 53 million.

Given La Real's lack of desire to negotiate, paying the clause may be Arsenal's best option for securing Zubimendi.
