Liverpool hero John Aldridge feels Sunday's draw at Manchester United was a failure for Jurgen Klopp's team.
Aldridge wrote for the Liverpool Echo: "Drawing with Man United like that feels like a loss. They're not the Man United of the nineties and noughties.
"This is a team that is there to be beaten. So many teams before have gone there, much lesser sides than Liverpool, and just blew them away and left them well-beaten.
"We lacked a conviction in the penalty area, it was frighteningly bad. They're trying to smash things instead of stroking them into the corner. The chances that we fluffed were quite incredible to be fair. We had more opportunities than when we beat them 7-0! I was so, so frustrated watching it.
"At the same time, we gifted them a goal out of nothing and let them back into the game. Like we did in the cup. I'm not being too harsh here but teams that win the league, they don't do that.
"We've been fantastic, we've only lost two games all season. That tells you the depth of what the team has done, and the manager. We have been fantastic, but draws are no good for us now."
