Fulham boss Marco Silva: It's not about Liverpool revenge

Fulham boss Marco Silva insists they're not seeking revenge against Liverpool today.

The Cottagers were beaten by the Reds in the Carabao Cup semifinals.

Silva said: “No, it's not about revenge... because it's not our fight. Okay, Liverpool killed our Carabao Cup dreams but we were both fighting for that. But I'm not fighting for the same (league) position as Liverpool. I'm sorry.

“I am fighting for three points for Fulham. The rest of the details are not for us. That's for Liverpool and City.

“It was our ambition to be in the final. We reached the semi-finals for the first time ever but we wanted more. It was a moment that probably took two or three days to get over. But it was too far away for our season to end there. I didn't know the results, but our professionalism, our preparation and desire, I was sure about. We have been showing that since."
