Brighton midfielder Dahoud leaves Syria camp after 'agent demands'

Brighton midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud left the Syria camp yesterday.

Dahoud had pledged his commitment to Syria over Germany last month. But it's been announced he has now left the squad.

Syria are to face Myanmar, but Dahoud won't take part.

A statement from the Syrian FA said: "This morning, Mahmoud Dahoud left our national team camp at Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, due to our inability to meet his demands conveyed to us by his agent, which will affect the national team."

Dahoud is currently on loan with Stuttgart from Brighton.
