Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi admits a return to Serie A is in his career plan.

De Zerbi is back in Italy tonight to face Roma in the Europa League.

The former Sassuolo coach said: "It wouldn't be true if I said I wasn't thinking about Italy. It's my country, but I do what makes me happy, which Brighton makes me.

"Of course there was a reason why I took the step away from Italy three years ago.

"Without going into details, there were some things I didn't care about and I wanted to make my own way."
