Pereira joined Forest as manager in February and was tasked with keeping the Tricky Trees in the Premier League, doing so with eight wins from 20 matches in all competitions.
The 57-year-old even helped the Reds reach a Europa League semi-final before losing to eventual winners Aston Villa. As a result, Nottingham Forest's hierarchy are in talks over an improved contract for the Portuguese.
An offer is already on the table, according to transfer guru Ben Jacobs, with his current deal expiring in June 2027. However, after doing a stellar job so far at the City Ground, Pereira has attracted some unwanted attention.
In the same post, Jacobs revealed that Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli are interested in him and are willing to offer him a "significant wage" to return to the club he managed in 2013/14.
Al-Ahil are one of the two sides he's coached in Saudi Arabia, including Al Shabab, where he was at for just 10 months before signing a contract with Wolves in December 2024.
