Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has mocked his old side after lifting the Supercoppa with Napoli.

The 22-year-old left Old Trafford in the summer, joining Italian head coach Antonio Conte and his side on an initial loan that could become permanent next year if he continues to impress.

Hojlund is currently on four goals and two assists in 11 top-flight appearances for the Serie A giants as they chase down the title once again.

On Sunday night, Napoli defeated Bologna 2-0 to win the Supercoppa Italiana in what was Hojlund’s first trophy for the side who look unstoppable this season.

There is no doubt that Hojlund flopped at United but he has since flourished away from home. After the final whistle, he uploaded a picture of himself with the trophy, accompanied with the caption:

"What a great decision looks like."

With 13 goals and six assists in 36 games, he was recognised with Serie A’s MVP award and Player of the Year for his standout debut season.

This was alongside another former United star and the Serie A player of the year Scott McTominay who are both loving life away from the club.
