West Ham announced on Saturday morning:
"West Ham United have confirmed that Edson Álvarez has joined Turkish club Fenerbahçe on loan for the 2025/26 season, with an option to make the move permanent next summer.
"The Mexican international will be coached by José Mourinho at Istanbul's Süper Lig side.
"The 27-year-old has made 73 appearances for the Hammers since arriving from Ajax in the summer of 2023, scoring two goals and providing three assists."
