The Irons skipper said: "Frustrating. I think we had good moments, thought we got well into the last third, combined well at times, and then we just didn't take advantage of our chances.
"I think mine was the biggest. I am an honest person, I have to score that goal to give us the lead. I have to blame, take that responsibility.
"It's hard. I talked to them in there and I said there is a new fight on Tuesday, nothing comes easy in this league. We have to demand more of ourselves, demand more of each other, and that's it."
