UNCOVERED: Maresca QUIT Chelsea leaving staggering amount on table

The Italian manager left Chelsea on Thursday after falling out with management.

And The Sun says it was Maresca who pushed for the split, so leaving a staggering £14 MILLION on the table.

Maresca was on a five-year contract — with a further 12-month option — worth around £4m annually when he arrived from Leicester in 2024.

As he leaves after just 18 months, it leaves a potential £14m left outstanding.

Chelsea have now had four permanent managers and two caretakers in the past four years.
