The Reds go to Molineux in the Premier League before meeting Wolves again on Friday night in the FA Cup fifth round.
Slot reflected this morning: "It's not unusual to play three games in seven days for us.
"It's a challenge to play each other twice in a few days, but I like that. In the Champions League when you play a team again soon after you can change the set-up of your team.
"But we (Wolves and Liverpool) know each other that well, I don't see much difference playing each other twice in a few days rather than a bigger gap."
While momentum is now with the Reds, they also meet a Wolves which defeated Aston Villa on the weekend.
Slot added, "Wolves are doing much better than their results show. Whole season they've hardly been beaten by a big goal difference.
"Recently they've been getting points and a win against Villa. It'll be a difficult game tomorrow."
Set-piece strategy
Liverpool, after their win against West Ham, sit in fifth place, three points outside the top four Champions League qualifying places.
Slot, on the top four race, also stated: "So many things have gone against us this season. In terms of performances, only the first half against Forest was not of our standards (lately).
"It's changed on how entertaining the Premier League is because of playing styles.
"Two weeks ago you could say we are not that well placed. Things change really fast. We are really close together with a few teams and things can change every single matchday.
"We focus on our next game, on ourselves. We know every game has been difficult throughout the whole season and that's what we expect now."
Slot admits this season has seen a major shift in how teams perform and their tactical approach, with Arsenal now top of the table boasting an incredible goalscoring record from set-pieces.
The Dutchman also said: "The Premier League now is all the teams who are playing have a lot of money and can get very good players at the right age.
"The playing style is hard to control if you face long balls. Eventually that ball if the keeper takes a free-kick it's going to go into your box.
"It's really hard not to concede a throw-in in your own half or a free-kick within 80 yards of your own box.
"In the recent past teams didn't use so much that strategy."
Gakpo confidence
Cody Gakpo was on the scoresheet in the 5-2 win against West Ham. Slot admitted this morning there was some concern about the attacker's confidence.
He opined: "Attackers are judged on fact we keep a clean sheet just as defenders are judged on us scoring.
"But I know attackers want to score goals. I was happy as it was the 4-1 so that gave us a more comfortable cushion but even more happy for him to score. He needed that goal.
"I don't think his confidence was gone in that regard, btu I did see a few times recently he made a few different decisions that I'm used from him. That doesn't mean lack of confidence. But when players are not scoring they start to think more and usually overthinking is not the best thing you can do.
"I think that's something different to confidence. If it's Cody or Mo (Salah) they know they can have a certain spell without scoring, but they know they'll start scoring again.
"There are periods of time where you don't make much effort and ball keeps falling for you and you score. Other times you can work so hard and you can't score."
On a fully fit Jeremie Frimpong, Slot says it's a relief given the injuries to their senior fullbacks.
He added, "Right-back isn't the only position where we have struggled but it stands out most.
"Having Jeremie back is nice. We have to take into account a lot of games especially players who come back from injuries.
"But we know the importance of every game now. But I'm not the only one to have that.
"I prefer to manage how many minutes he can be given rather than see him with the medical team."
Wirtz update
Meanwhile, Slot was also asked about the fitness of Florian Wirtz, who has missed the past two games for the Reds. The Germany attacker picked up a back injury in training at the beginning of last week.
Slot said, "Not anything different to what I said after the game (against West Ham).
"The game probably comes too soon tomorrow and maybe the game at the weekend. We hope to have him back next week."
