A damaging defeat at Everton on Saturday was a fourth consecutive loss for the Blues in all competitions.
"I think the international break has come at a good time for us," explained Rosenior.
"Hopefully, the players get a change. Most of them have to fly across the world and represent their countries, but maybe a reset, maybe some time away to regather their thoughts and have a different lineament and come back, may refresh the group.
"It’s a disappointing time at the moment in terms of the way we lost in the Champions League and the way we’ve lost the last two Premier League games.
"It hurts, regardless of your position, losing games of football. But in terms of moving forward and having this time.
"We’re one point away from the Champions League positions, so we need to keep working in this way, keep giving the players as much confidence as possible, and hopefully this break has come at a really good moment."
