Arsenal legend Ray Parlour says Nuno Espirito Santo has one final game to save his job.

West Ham were blown apart 3-0 by bottom-side Wolves on Saturday, leaving them four points from safety in the Premier League as talks of relegation continue amongst worried fans.

Nuno's time is nearly up

Nuno, 51, has found it difficult to turn the Hammers around this season and faith in him and the players is at an all-time low.

The club have responded by securing Brazilian striker Pablo Felipe for £21.7M, whilst Lazio's Taty Castellanos made a £26M switch on Monday to try and help the side bounce back.

However, Parlour believes that Nuno’s sacking is inescapable and suggested that the clash against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night could be his final game in charge.

"I don't think he lasts," Parlour said on talkSPORT Breakfast.

"I think this is the last game he's got. I don't know what you do. You've got to do something about what's going wrong.

"I don't know what the dressing room situation is with the players and the manager but something's gone wrong."

Are players giving their all?

Nuno’s last win came on November 8th against 19th-placed Burnley, who look certain for relegation. Parlour suggested that players are not giving their all for the club this season as fans grow frustrated with so many dire performances.

"You put on that West Ham shirt, you go out, you've got to run through a brick wall," Parlour said.

"You can have a bad game, there's no doubt about that, everyone has bad games. But the effort, you see a bit of effort, you get away with it.

"West Ham fans, they want to see the desire. Things will go against West Ham, and the fans will say, 'Look, at least he had a go, at least he tried.'

"There's no excuse for players to go out and not give 100 per cent."
