The Hammers will be looking for their first win in four ahead of their clash with Brentford on Monday night, where Nuno will try to turn the club around infront of the home fans at the London stadium.
West Ham’s goal difference is already so bad that they would need to win 4-0 to climb above their opponents and Burnley, a statistic that sums up their dire campaign so far.
Their poor results have been the least of their worries however, as fan protests and boycotts continue. Nuno has called for the club to come together in a peaceful statement where he suggests the club have to do it the “West Ham way”.
“It's subjective. It's so subjective. It's a feeling,” Nuno continued.
“We have to achieve that feeling first among ourselves and then determine how we want to do things. And if this is the West Ham way, I'll be very, very pleased, believe me, because everything that I hear about the West Ham way is positive.
“Many, many people come to me and say, ‘the West Ham way is doing this, this, and this’. Then you meet another one and they say, ‘no, it's this, this, and this’. It's so, so difficult to understand.
“Let's be honest. Let's be hard workers, because this is what the fans expect and want from us. Dedicated, committed, and things will come natural,” he explained.
West Ham are yet to be leading at the half-time interval of a Premier League game this term and have been beaten in all three of their outings at home. The club is in a downward spiral at the moment and it feels like a win on Monday night won’t be enough to please supporters who have lost faith in the side.
