The teen started and scored the opener for the Reds in Saturday's victory.
Asked afterwards if Liverpool's win was 'needed', Ngumoha told Sky Sports: "Definitely. I think coming back to Anfield and getting the three points, it's a great feeling. The atmosphere was great again.
"So, a positive day."
On his goal, he continued: "It was a special goal. Robbo (Andrew Robertson) made the overlap and created space for me. Then I just cut inside and I just aimed for the corner."
Ngumoha added: "Liverpool, for me, is the biggest club in the world. To start so young and the manager having belief in me and all the players, it's great. So, I've got to keep working hard and keep pushing on and just go again."
