Truffert is in line to start for the Cherries at Anfield in Friday night's season kickoff.
The former Rennes left-back arrived primarily to replace Milos Kerkez, who could himself start for Liverpool tonight.
“It’s one of my dreams to play in the Premier League,” Truffert told the Bournemouth website.
“I’m very excited to be part of this great club and I can’t wait to make my mark.
“For me, it’s the best place to grow as a player. I spoke to a lot of people before I came and I felt at home straight away. I also spoke with my family, and for me it was the best choice. After one month here, I’m sure it’s the right decision.
“I know Milos Kerkez had a very good season last season and that the fans loved him.
“But I want to be honest and say to the fans, I will give everything to be at my best and hopefully have a big season personally, as well as help the team.
“We want to do our best and, if possible, have a better season with more points. Why not? Maybe at the end of the season we can play in Europe, we’ll see. The season is long but we’re ready for that first game on Friday.”
