Man City star Haaland wants name change

The Norway international wishes now to be known as Erling "Braut Haaland".

The change has already been made with the national team, though for now his City shirt will still only show the "Haaland" surname.

The claim has been made by a retailer of Norway shirts, but Norway manager Stale Solbakken was unaware of the change when asked. 

“That's his name (Braut), it's no longer that difficult,” he said. “I knew nothing of it until now.”

Braut is the surname of his mother Gry Marita’s maiden name.
