Nunes said afterwards: “We knew it was going to be a difficult game, it’s always very difficult to come here.
“But I think we did a very good job, we controlled the game and I think that’s the most important thing.
“Now we have to look at the next game and prepare.
“We knew it would be very important to make a statement and come here and win because it doesn’t matter if we win against (Real) Madrid and then you come here and you draw and then you are too far behind off Arsenal, so we knew it was very important to win the three points here and that’s what we did.”
