Liverpool consider buy-back option for Bayer Leerkusen defender Quansah

Quansah joined Bayer from Liverpool for £30m plus £5m in bonuses in August.

Since then, England defender Quansah has scored four goals in 32 competitive matches for Leverkusen so far.

Now Sky Deutschland reports that Liverpool are considering re-signing the 23-year-old back for next season.

The Reds are closely following the centre-back's progress this term.

Quansah's deal carries a buy-back clause for Liverpool set at €80m and is valid until the end of May.

Quansah's contract with Bayer Leverkusen runs until the summer of 2030.
