Salah was dropped for the midweek Champions League win at Inter Milan after speaking out against Slot and Reds management a week ago following Liverpool's draw at Leeds.
Salah was left on the bench at Elland Road and broke his silence on his frustration with the situation in the aftermath.
However, after talks on Friday between the pair, Salah has been recalled for today's game.
Last weekend Salah also said he had invited his family to come to the Brighton game, adding: "I will be in Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go to Africa Cup of Nations.
"I don't know what is going to happen when I am there."
Interestingly, Slot has named only eight of the allowed nine substitutes today.
