Iraola is adamant Evanilson was fouled early on inside the Burnley penalty area.
“I complain there is, like the other week, a clear penalty to Evanilson,” he told the Daily Echo.
“I cannot understand why they don't call it with the VAR. Even live, it's an easy penalty to call live.
“It's not a difficult one. So it's not like the ball is one side and then it's an easy one.
“And it happens because we had the Tavernier one, okay, they will tell us in three days it was a pen but we don't win anything.”
Iraola continued: “He nutmegs Humphreys, I think and Worrell just kicks Evanilson.
“He knows what he's doing. It's not like he puts his body in between. No, no, he kicks Evanilson and it's a pen. You don't need a lot of replays.
“They were checking and because now we have the option to see it, watch it on the bench, so I was thinking, okay, they're checking, they're checking, they're going to call it.
“But it didn't happen.
“The other day it was the same with Tavernier.
“They said like he continues the play somehow, hits the post, and this— probably they don't take the decision today. Evanilson didn't continue the play, but the result is the same.”
