Burnley boss Scott Parker admitted mixed emotions after their 0-0 draw with Bournemouth.

Parker felt they could've earned more from Saturday's stalemate.

He said, "It was a big shift from the boys. We had big chances in that first half and we didn’t manage to take them.

“The game ebbed and flowed in the second half. We gave everything but just lacked the clinical touch in front of goal.

“On reflection, we played well today.

"It’s probably a fair result against a good, good side, but it feels like a missed opportunity."

Parker also said: “When you have the bumps that we’ve had, it can have an impact over the course of the season.

“But we showed today we’re still fighting.

“Anyone who was here today could not fault the spirit and endeavour at all.

“We had to bounce back from the Everton performance and I thought we did that.”
