Nottingham Forest manager Vitor Pereira admitted that he doesn't know whether Elliot Anderson will be at the club beyond this season.

Anderson, 23, has emerged as a top transfer target for several Premier League clubs this summer following a fantastic season for Forest.

Man United, Man City, and Chelsea have all been linked with the midfielder, and an exit is looking more likely than ever.

Speaking after Forest’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle, Pereira admitted he doesn’t know whether Anderson will still be at the club next season.

"I cannot say (whether he will stay), I don't have the answer. I know he deserves the top of the world. I know that he's our player, and we need to enjoy him because I have worked with the top talent players, but to find a top player with this character is not easy.

“I'm not thinking about the next season. I'm thinking about finishing this season in the best position that we can."
