Guehi considering Palace captaincy after missing Liverpool move

The England defender saw the switch blocked by manager Oliver Glasner, who threatened to quit if his captain was sold.

Ultimately, Palace pulled out of negotiations with Liverpool over Guehi, this despite agreeing a £35m fee and the player passing his medical.

Now with the England camp, Guehi could release a statement explaining his side of the story, says the Guardian.

It's claimed Guehi is now "extremely unhappy" about his situation and considering whether to give up the club captaincy.

Guehi's deal with Palace is now inside it's final 12 months.
