Fofana (16) earns first Real Madrid Castilla call for glamour Man Utd Cup tie

United will host Castilla at Old Trafford in a much-anticipated tie.

Fofana, just 16, is in the travelling squad for the first time and is a Spain U17 international.

The midfielder has been likened to Chelsea great N'Golo Kante and admits he models his game on Patrick Vieira.

Fofana is a regular with Real's U18 teams - both A and C - while he has been close to a Castilla debut in recent weeks.

De Lerma has now rewarded Fofana for his current form with a first call-up to a squad which features players three and four years his senior.
