Dewsbury-Hall said afterwards, “I feel like I’m getting in to a nice rhythm. I am confident, I am feeling the best I have ever felt physically and football-wise.

“I thought tonight we were really good – more like what we want to be at home: dominant and limiting our opponents to not many chances. It is a great reaction in the last four of five days to get back-to-back wins after two losses. It shows great character from the lads and puts us in a great position ahead of the run-in.

“Look at the stadium, it is built for European nights. It is a massive club and that is one of the reasons why I wanted to come: to get the Club back in to the European places. I believed with the new project it was possible. We are in a good position and it is about doing the business for the rest of the season," he continued.

"Getting in to the England squad is a dream of mine. I know the competition is stacked, but I am having a really good season – it is probably the best season I have ever had in the Premier League. My main focus is getting in to Europe with this team. If we do that, it gives me a better chance internationally."
