Chelsea Youngster Freddy Bernal Signs First Professional Contract

The 17-year-old goalkeeper has been with the West London club since joining at Under-8 level, progressing through the youth ranks at Cobham.

Bernal has since established himself as a regular for Hassan Sulaiman’s Under-18s and is highly regarded at the club.

Chelsea reportedly turned down a £1.25 million offer from London rivals Arsenal for the shot stopper in the summer.
