According to The Athletic, Bayern made a late approach to Sterling, but he flat out rejected the opportunity to move to Germany.
It’s understood that the winger has no intention of leaving London, where his family has been happy and settled for years.
Sterling is under contract at Chelsea until the summer of 2027 and is reportedly earning around £300,000 a week, meaning he is in line to earn £30m in wages.
