The Gunners earned a comfortable win at the Emirates in the first North London derby of the season to go six points clear at the top of the Premier League.
Summer signing Eberechi Eze, who came close to joining Spurs before Arsenal swooped in, scored a hattrick after Leandro Trossard’s 36th minute opener.
Arteta’s side managed to secure the win without a trademark set piece goal having scored 12 from either corners, free-kicks, throw-ins or penalties since the start of the season.
Speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Wednesday (November 26), Arteta joked he was ‘upset’ his side didn’t manage to get another.
"I am upset we didn’t score with a set piece. I want to score with a set piece as well," he said.
