Arsenal are reportedly losing ground to fellow Premier League side Brentford in the race for Leicester City sensation Jeremy Monga.

The 16-year-old, set to turn 17 next month, made 30 appearances for Leicester across 2025-26, having previously made his debut at 15, while the club were still in the Premier League.

Reigning champions Arsenal have been chasing Monga over the past few weeks, with personal terms not expected to be an issue… until now.

Per The Times, Brentford have “stepped up” interest in the teenager and will reach out to Monga over a potential move to West London rather than North.

It’s understood that the promise of more regular first team minutes at Brentford would appeal to Monga as he weighs the next move of his promising career.
