He made just 14 appearances across all competitons for Francesco Farioli's side as they were crowned Liga Portugal champions.
Fluminense have now confirmed that Silva has now re-returned to the club, signing a deal until the end of the 2026 season in December.
Silva has played 212 matches and scored 19 goals for Fluminense, but his only title came in the form of the 2007 Copa do Brazil.
