Torre chose to cut ties with Barca over the summer to sign permanently with Mallorca.
Asked how he felt about the split, he told Marca: "Very good. I have incredible affection for everyone, from the board, who have always treated me brilliantly, to all the players, to the people inside the club.
"They're really good guys. They're aliens on the pitch, but they're incredible people in the locker room and off it.
"The truth is, I miss the fans, but I keep talking to them, and it's been a pleasure for me to be there and learn from all of them, because they've made me improve a lot in everything, and for me, it's been incredible to play for Barça."
Torre also said, "You want to play. It's true that in the end, you're at Barça and it's hard to leave, but as time goes by and you don't play, you think about it, you talk about it. The happiest place is on the pitch, and as the season goes on, you think about it.
"It's also true that no one wants to leave Barça, and it's hard to leave. I've also learned a lot there, and I think it's an experience. I don't regret being there at all, even though I didn't play."
