Luxemburgo was left unimpressed by Neymar's antics during Santos' defeat to Flamengo on the weekend.
Neymar- starting for the first time in two months - displayed an angry demeanor, received a yellow card for protesting and openly criticising the referee at halftime.
Furthermore, he became irritable with his teammates, crossed the pitch to take a goal kick, and reacted badly to being substituted, leaving the pitch without sitting on the bench.
In reaction, Luxemburgo posted to social media: "A true leader motivates not just with words, but with actions.
"Neymar is an extraordinary talent, but he must prove it in difficult moments. Complaining about the referee or walking off the pitch doesn't help the team.
"You have to run until the last minute, support your teammates, and transform frustration into collective energy. The name matters, but the example matters."
