He swept aside the other candidate, Víctor Font , obtaining 68.18 percent of the votes in a historic day.
"The result is resounding and gives us so much strength that it makes us unstoppable. Exciting years are coming; they will be the best years of our lives," he commented.
"In these elections, there was a candidate who lost, a candidate with a confrontational platform, but the members voted overwhelmingly for our proposal, in which we defend Barça against everyone and everything. It's a show of support for the work we've done.
"They've given us the strength to continue the work we've begun: to continue with the Spotify Camp Nou project, to strengthen the team, with Flick on the bench, Deco in the front office... The players' participation has made us very happy.
