Cazorla urges Spanish football to protect Barcelona pair Pedri and Yamal

Cazorla admits he's a big fan of Barcelona pair Pedri and Lamine Yamal, though has concern about their workload for club and country.

He told Mundo Deportivo: "Pedri and Lamine Yamal are two incredible players whom I admire greatly.

"Perhaps a little more praise for Pedri because he plays in a similar position to me."

Cazorla then called for protecting younger talents, especially Yamal: "He must be left alone. He's very young and is already being compared to (Lionel) Messi  and other players who have reached very high levels.

"Having had the opportunity to face them even at this age is something I'll always carry with me."
