Laporta told Mundo Deportivo: "It was an extraordinary party. Everyone was very elegant and had a great time. I regret not being there.
"This is simply today's youth. There's nothing to reproach about."
Beyond the media criticism, the president especially wanted to praise Yamal's professionalism, having recently been assigned the number 10 jersey.
