According to Spanish outlet Sport, Hansi Flick’s side were hoping to sign Sesko next summer as a replacement for Lewandowski.
Despite being 36-year-old, Lewandowski shows no signs of slowing down, bagging an impressive 42 goals in his 52 games last season.
Barcelona aren’t planning on renewing this striker’s contract when it runs out next summer, however, and will be in the market for a replacement.
