In extra-time, United were decisive. They first struck through an own goal, before shortly after it was Obi-Martin's turn.
A long ball ended up sitting up nicely for the Dane who lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper and saw it finish inside the net via the post.
Derby eventually created some excitement with a reply, but United survived and won 2-1, with the tie held Old Trafford.
