Former Arsenal, Chelsea and France star Emmanuel Petit has predicted that Chelsea will struggle in the FA Cup final against Manchester City.

The FA Cup final between Chelsea and City takes place at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, 16th May in what should be an entertaining clash between two sides in very different form.

Chelsea lost their last 6 games before drawing 1-1 with Liverpool over the weekend in a run of form which sums up their season under 3 different managers.

Meanwhile, EFL Cup winners City enter the game as they track down the title as they continue to be relentless under manager Pep Guardiola

City are firm favourites to win and Petit spoke to BOYLE Sports, who offer the latest World Cup betting about how the Blues stand little chance heading into the final.

“I would say in a single game, a final, anything can happen. City won at Chelsea recently, and we saw only one team on the pitch. The question actually is who cannot beat Chelsea?

“It seems that every single team can beat Chelsea, actually. So I don't see why City, the way they play, the way they control the game, their players, the atmosphere, the environment, it's totally different to Chelsea.

“So I don't see why the players will probably react for this final when they didn't do that for months now. We've been expecting them. So many times I've been frustrated about them because I was expecting a reaction, a proud reaction on the pitch all together.

“Forget about what you think or what you feel. Just do what you've been paid for. And they failed. All of them, they failed for weeks now. So Chelsea need a miracle, I will tell you it won't happen because City are a better team in every way.”

Chelsea will go trophyless if they fail to grab a result against City who could compete the treble if Arsenal slip up in the title race and Guardiola’s side remain consistent.
